A.M. Walker Procedures
Morning supervision does not start until 8:05 am every day. Walkers and bike riders MUST enter the walking gate by our basketball court at that time. Please do not escort students down along our car line ramp. We want to keep all of our students safe. Thank you.
Dismissals
Afternoon Car Line Procedures
Our car line pick up begins at 3:00 pm (2:00 pm on Wednesday's) and we typically have all children in their cars in about 20 minutes.
We ask parents to assist in easing the car line backup by refraining from arriving on campus more than 10 to 15 minutes before dismissal. This will be a major factor in limiting our car line and resulting impact to the neighboring community.
Dismissal Reminders
If you will be picking your child up early for an appointment, please let the teacher know in advance, if possible, so that your child can have his/her backpack prepared. This helps to expedite the process for everyone.
Severe Rainy Day Dismissal
During major rain, lightning, wind, and thunder, we may have to delay the dismissal of our Geneva students to ensure their safety. In that event, then we would house the Bus Riders in the Media Center & load them on to the bus straight from the front office. Car riders would be housed inside the music room and dismissed only 4 at a time on numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9. This will also keep our staff member (who announces names) dry and safe. Walkers and biker riders would be held in the Music Room, which is building 02 near the Clinic. We then would contact parents and transition the students to car riders or at least wait out the severe weather.
